Shifter Knob Caps - Still In the Works

Ok guys - I think most of us can agree that those pesky shifter knob caps either fall off and get lost or the pattern has been worn down to the point that you just can't make it out anymore. That's not too big of a deal because if you're driving a Toyota, you're perfectly capable of shifting through the gears in your sleep... but that doesn't mean you don't want it to look nice, right?! Well, Toyota4Low has been working on a solution to bring you new shifter knob caps for months now.

We had a source who initially said they could replicate the caps for us and after about six months of playing phone tag, receiving bad samples and finally "we can't make these for you after-all" as an answer when we pushed for a yes or no... we're back to the drawing board.

That said, we haven't given up! With hours of research, we found a place that can print the shifting pattern onto the caps... now we're trying to find someone who can bend/stamp or otherwise move the metal from flat stock to convex shaped so it fits on the knob correctly. Samples are out across town and we're currently playing the waiting game to see if anyone can do it.

This is one of the most-asked-for items among the Toyota community and we intend to see it through and provide you all with a quality product... it just might take longer than we'd like. We'll keep you posted when we have more news on these!
